On Friday, July 27, After-School All-Stars Ohio hosted their annual Live Fit Challenge at the Ohio State University’s French Field House. Hundreds of children gathered to participate in a wide range of activities, including football, street hockey, soccer, fencing, karate, gymnastics, cheerleading, dancing, track, and arts & crafts.
FOX Sports Ohio and the FOX Sports Ohio Girls Kristine and Hallie were part of this day-long event. Kristine and Hallie helped children at the Columbus Blue Jackets’ Slap Shot inflatable while FOX Sports Ohio’s Jackie Bryant assisted at the gymnastics station.
At lunchtime, Kristine and Hallie, on behalf of FOX Sports Ohio, presented After-School All-Stars Ohio with a check for $50,000.
A camera was also there to gather footage, which was later presented in Reds Live pregame show to help raise awareness for After-School All-Stars. Click HERE for photos.
On Thursday, Aug. 16, FOX Sports Ohio sent After-School All-Stars Ohio to the Cincinnati Reds game! Not only did the group enjoy the ride on the Fan Express to Reds Country, but they were also recognized during the game telecast.
