When the Miami Dolphins kicked off their preseason opener on Friday night at Sun Life Stadium, they did so with a new television partner-- FOX Sports Florida.
As part of the partnership, FOX Sports Florida will air a host of Dolphins programming including:
- Pre-season Games will air on FOX Sports Florida the Sunday following each game at 8 p.m.
- Finsiders Final Drive / Inside the Fins will air on FOX Sports Florida on Saturdays at 9:00 am 52 weeks a year (already on air)
- Dolphins All Access TV Show will air multiple times each month throughout the year (already on air)
"We're very pleased that we could add some NFL and Dolphins programming to our network," said Steve Tello, GM & SVP, FOX Sports Florida / Sun Sports. "Dolphins CEO Mike Dee and his team have done an excellent job at allowing us access as the team progresses this season and we're happy to bring that to our viewers."
The partnership generated positive media coverage in the Sun Sentinel, South Florida Business Journal and Sports Pro Media.
FOX Sports Florida is working towards enhancing the partnership by incorporating vibrant new on-air promos featuring the FOX Sports Florida Girls (pictured) and planning a visit to the current home of HBO's Hard Knocks, Dolphins training camp in Davie, FL.
