High School Basketball "Miracle Shot" Remembered by FOX Sports Detroit

Three seconds to go.  Saginaw Buena Vista trails Flint Beecher 32-31.  A missed free throw, rebound, dribble, pass, dribble and a desperation heave... followed by pandemonium.

Chris Coles had only two points in the 1986 Michigan Class B basketball final, but they would be among the most memorable in state high school history, sinking a shot from beyond half court as time expired.

Twenty-five years later, Coles returned to Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor to remember the accomplishment with FOX Sports Detroit's Shannon Hogan (view at left). The feature, airing during this year's state championship coverage, includes Coles' attempt to reenact the shot.
