Dallas-Fort Worth’s first-ever Super Bowl, a creative solution to address a team owner’s program concerns, and a blockbuster NBA trade led to the best-month ever for FoxSportsSouthwest.com.
FOXSportsSouthwest.com led all local FS website traffic in February with:

* 32.9% of the combined FS regional page view
* 132% more page views than the next highest local site
* 86% increase over previous monthly traffic record
* Record-setting unique visitors for a month, topping previous mark by 55%

FoxSports.com and MSN turned to FoxSportsSouthwest.com during Super Bowl week for local original content when the NFL and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones found themselves embroiled in a Super Bowl seating fiasco. FoxSportsSouthwest.com was the source for follow-up stories, analysis and Jones’ first public comments on the snafu.

FoxSportsSouthwest.com also scored another traffic-generating Super Bowl story picked up by MSN on a Green Bay homeless couple winning a free trip to watch the big game in Dallas.

FOX Sports Southwest used its local website to address Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban's concerns about missing a "Mavs Live" pregame show due to a national program conflict by streaming the show live, opening up a new platform to distribute content.

FoxSportsSouthwest.com generated considerable website traffic with coverage of the Oklahoma City Thunder's blockbuster acquisitions at the NBA trade deadline.
