FOX Sports Arizona is taking March Madness to a new level this year by creating a first-of-its-kind NCAA Basketball Tournament bracket challenge exclusively for its advertising partners.
Designed so the network can further connect and interact with its sales partners, FOX Sports Arizona’s 2011 March Madness Tournament Challenge is a fun competition between a variety of advertisers and clients who will compete to win a fully-catered Arizona Diamondbacks suite-night for its employees.
Three underlying themes in the promotion are:
* Give back to the network’s valued partners in a new and unique way
* Involve not only the marketing directors/media buyers who usually reap the benefits of a partnership, but their organizations as a whole
* Reinforce the idea that FOX Sports Arizona is THE place for local sports
How does it work?
Each participating organization assigns a captain, fills out a 2011 NCAA Basketball Tournament bracket sheet and receives a poster-sized bracket to hang in their office to keep track of the bracket internally.

Meanwhile, the actual standings are updated throughout the tournament on a special page on FOXSportsArizona.com along with a PDF copy of each partner’s bracket. Each correct guess in each round is awarded points and the group with the most points after the national champion cuts down the nets in Houston wins the Grand Prize.
Among the clients who are competing are Allstate, United Healthcare, Fiesta Bowl, The UPS Store, Fort McDowell Casino, Petersen Johnson, Riester, The Lavidge Company & E.B. Lane.
