FOXSportsSouth.com, FOXSportsCarolinas.com and FOXSportsTennessee.com See Record Numbers

After an exciting end to 2012, the FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Tennessee websites have continued to garner incredible success in the early stages of 2013.

With the hiring of Cory McCartney as the FOX Sports South Digital Content Manager in October, the three websites averaged over 2.8 million pages views over the final quarter of the year. Taking advantage of numerous fascinating storylines in the Southeast, McCartney and his team have already reached the 2.8 million threshold less than half-way through the month of January. The FOX Sports South site alone has seen a 108% increase of viewers in January over December’s final numbers.

Cory McCartney is the Digital Content Manager for
FOX SportsSouth, FOX Sports Carolinas and
FOX Sports Tennessee. A Heisman Trophy voter, he previously
worked at SportsIllustrated.com and has been featured as an
analyst for the Big Ten Network. Follow him on Twitter: @CoryMC_Fox
Thanks to the FOX Sports partnership with MSN and the clout McCartney has in the college football industry, his weekly column, The Blitz, was distributed nationally as well as his multiple Heisman columns. McCartney also credits his staff of seven writers, who have taken advantage of trending stories to achieve national distribution.
FOXSportsSouth.com, FOXSportsCarolinas.com and FOXSportsTennessee.com
saw increased  page views each month in the final quarter of 2012.
FOX Sports South viewers, in addition to finding articles on their favorite local teams, have been rewarded with numerous exclusive videos such as Sounding Off segments. The staff of writers also introduced multiple Roundtable videos discussing the different college football bowl games featuring ACC, SEC and Conference USA teams as well as BCS games.
Zach Dillard, Cory McCartney, Steve Eubanks and John Manasso film a Bowl Preview Roundtable segment exclusive to the web.
This January, visitors to the three south websites will begin to see increased Atlanta Braves, Nashville Predators and Carolina Hurricanes coverage and with the start of baseball, fantasy sports fans will find weekly articles helping them with their teams from the most recent addition to the FOX Sports South staff, the 2008 Fantasy Sports Writers Association's "Football Writer of the Year" Jay Clemons
