Ratings Continue to Soar for Tampa Bay Rays on Sun Sports; Pacing +72% vs. Last Year

Dome Sweet Dome for the Tampa Bay Rays who are finding Tropicana Field to be quite a comforting place this season. At 14-3 on their own turf, the Rays have the best home record in the Major Leagues with an .823 winning percentage and are tied with 3 other teams with the overall most wins in Major League Baseball. The Rays have won 4 straight to keep their grip on 1st place in the AL East with the Baltimore Orioles. With the Boston Red Sox in town, the Rays had their 3rd best rated game of the year with a 7.3 HH Rtg. This is the 3rd time this year the Rays have been over a 7 rating this season, which matches last season’s over 7 production, however those higher ratings in 2011 came in the last series of the season with the Wild Card on the line. This season on SUN Sports, the Rays are averaging a 5.6 HH through 37 games. This is 72% vs. last season with the same game output  and nearly 10% above the 2010 pace which was the best Rays ratings season on SUN Sports/FS Florida
