Angels Score Season-Best Ratings vs. Yanks; Rangers' Ratings Remain Hot

For the Los Angeles Angels, things are finally starting to click as these pre-season favorites have won 7 in a row and are at the .500 mark for the first time since the opening weekend after beating the New York Yankees on Monday in Anaheim on a walk-off home-run by Mark Trumbo. The Angles have won 17 games this month and have the best record in the American League during May.  In this most recent win against the Yankees, FOX Sports West produced a 2.2 HH Rtg. which is the best Angels rating this season and 2nd best over the last 2 seasons on FS West.

Keeping the Angels from getting too close has been the 5 game winning streak of the Texas Rangers who started their series with the Mariners with a win to maintain a 6 ½ game Division lead. Airing on FOX Sports Southwest on Monday, the Rangers had their highest rated game during May with an 8.0 HH Rtg. This was successful enough to be #1 for the day among HH’s and key Men Demos.  Through 36 games this season on FS Southwest, the Rangers are up nearly 87% compared to last year with 2012 currently at a 6.6 HH Rtg.
