FOX Sports North Raises Over $134,000 for Injured HS Hockey Player Jack Jablonski; "Hockey Day Minnesota" Dedicated to His Family

What is challenging?
At one point, the staff at FOX Sports North might’ve considered planning and televising Hockey Day Minnesota a challenge: sixteen hours of consecutive hockey programming, three high school match-ups, a college game, an NHL match-up as well as several features, all televised as part of one day.
Ask the staff about challenging now. They might have a different perspective after telling Jack's story as part of Hockey Day Minnesota on Jan. 21.

What is inspirational?
Inspired by Jack's story, FOX Sports North and the Minnesota Wild decided to dedicate Hockey Day Minnesota 2012 to the Jablonski family. An all-day telethon with exclusive content and multiple on-air elements was organized with a goal to provide funds for Jack's medical needs and rehabilitation.
The hockey community near and far were inspired by Jack's story too. The day-long benefit brought in over $134,000 in donations.
