PARTNERSHIPS IN MOTION
To increase the depth and breadth of coverage, FOX Sports West partnered with Scout.com, LA Daily News Group and the Los Angeles Times all season long, expanding awareness and providing additional insights:
Daily News Group - With the intrinsically local nature of high school sports, the LA Daily News Group and their eight localized papers provided the perfect footprint. The partnership kicked off with the CIF-SS football and supplied a myriad of content sharing opportunities including ad placement and editorial insights, while featured columnists frequented the FS West airwaves (see above video).
Scout.com - Brandon Huffman and Scott Kennedy, supplied recruiting information for weekly pre-game show, in-game interviews and eNewsletter content. Huffman and Kennedy also connected with fans for weekly online chats dedicated to SoCal prep sports.

Throughout the season, FOX Sports West deployed a street team that traveled to 17 football games and the first-ever "Spirit of Giving" rivalry pep rally to educate fans on the Prep Zone using a demo on a 20" TV monitor, distribute Prep Zone t-shirts via an air-cannon, encourage eNewsletter signups and take pictures of fans that could be shared virally (see image to the right).HIGHLIGHTED MARKETING STRATEGIES
