FOX Sports Ohio Expands High School Football Coverage

FOX Sports Ohio expands high school football coverage with 36 games state-wide & successfully launches Prep Zone.

FOX Sports Ohio has increased its commitment to high school sports by expanding its high school football coverage this season. The network will produce 36 games during the regular season. High School Football Game of the Week features 12 live Thursday night games this regular season on FOX Sports Ohio and streaming live on FOXSportsOhio.com. The remaining 24 games are part of FOX Sports Prep Zone, which was successfully launched this past weekend.

* The network kicked off its high school football coverage on Thursday, August 25 with High School Football Game of the Week. 

• Nationally distributed game between Avon and Avon Lake
• The two Cleveland suburban schools earned a competitive rating (up against a Browns-Lions NFL preseason game)
• Drew a sellout crowd of 5,300
• Featured Scout.com guest, Jeff Svoboda, to promote website coverage. Scout.com guests will make appearances each game. 

* FOXSportsOhio.com continued to feature high school football on Saturday, August 27 with the launch of FOX Sports Prep Zone.
