- Employee Volunteers Lend A Helping Hand To Build Energy-Efficient Habitat For Humanity Home With Astros
FOX Sports Houston joined forces with the Houston Astros last week to participate in the club’s Play Green environmental campaign.
Through its existing partnership with Houston Habitat for Humanity, FS Houston secured a day build for the Astros to kick off the team’s Play Green Week.
For the third consecutive year, FOX Sports Houston employee volunteers spent the day working side-by-side with members of the Astros front office staff and outfielder Hunter Pence to help build an energy-efficient Habitat for Humanity “green home” for a deserving Houston Family.

The project was a positive team building experience for FS Houston employees.
They enjoyed the camaraderie of working together, while giving back to the community and helping the Astros make one of the first comprehensive environmental programs in Major League Baseball a success.
