FOX Sports Arizona partnered with The Pat Tillman Foundation to host a special premiere event for the network’s highly anticipated “The Pat Tillman Legacy” show. While it gave 250 attendees to opportunity to see the documentary before it debuted on television the next night, the most important part of the evening was the party served as a fundraiser for The Pat Tillman Foundation’s Military Scholar Program.![]() |

The Tillman Military Scholars program supports active and veteran service members and their families by removing financial barriers to completing a degree or certification program of choice. The scholarships cover not only direct study-related expenses such as tuition and fees, but also other needs, including housing and child care.

Many fans, friends and family showed their support for Tillman and found the documentary inspirational and moving. Former Arizona Cardinals teammates Zack Walz and Kwamie Lassister were there, as well as current Cardinals center Lyle Sendlein, former Cardinals offensive coordinator Rich Olson, University of Montana head football coach Robin Pflugrad (who coached Tillman at ASU) and former Arizona Diamondback Junior Spivey.
