Steak in Kuwait – FOX Sports North Cooks up Exposure for “Serving Our Troops”

Mike Dimond, Senior Vice President and General Manager for FOX Sports North, also master griller. Dimond, along with representatives from all of Minnesota’s pro sports teams (Ted Johnson, Timberwolves; Patrick Klinger, Twins; Bryan Harper, Vikings and Jim Ibister, Wild) recently took the long flight to Kuwait with “Serving Our Troops” to make dinner a little meatier for local soldiers.

"Serving our Troops" is a local organization that shows support and thanks to those who put themselves in harm's way by serving steak dinners to National Guard troops overseas and to their families back in Minnesota. 

Not only did the trip provide FOX Sports North an opportunity to educate viewers about a great organization, but also the chance to show thanks to the men and women who serve our country.
