The successful on-air launch highlighted a program that has been beneficial to the network across a multitude of social media outlets.
The HEAT Live Rewards program kicked-off on the broadcast with a feature during the aptly named HEAT Live pregame show. Sun Sports reporter Kristen Hewitt and the FOX Sports Florida Girls, Jordana and Annilie, discussed how to sign up and also highlighted the various prizes.
Social Metrics
Per Mass Relevance, more than 1,000 tweets were sent using the designated point aggregating hashtags for the night of #HEATLive and #HEATLiveRewards. To date, 384 combined users have signed up for the HEAT and Magic rewards programs.
Ad Sales
The Live Rewards programs display a great amount of versatility for the company with ad sales also benefiting. By
working closely with the ad sales department, we were able to secure
incremental revenue and reel in large clients, such as Subway and Checkers, thanks in part to the Four Square
check-in capabilities.
National Priorities
With the Live Rewards program evolving on a daily basis with new incentives and constant social media engagement, FOX Sports Florida / Sun Sports are set to integrate NASCAR and Daytona 500 specific prizing in the coming weeks. The different prizes and experiences users are eligible to win will continue to grow in both reach and nature, thus contributing to a more exciting program touching a wider range of fans and subscribers.
FOX Sports Florida and Sun Sports, the only RSN's currently activating around the platform, plan to continue developing the Live Rewards programs this season with both the Miami HEAT and Orlando Magic.
