Sam Amico & Zac Jackson's coverage following the Cavs upset against the Lakers resulted in a record number of unique visitors in a single day (10X greater than typical day & over 20% higher than the previous record day.)

• After Zac Jackson's article on a coaching controversy at a Northeast Ohio high school was featured as “Editor’s Pick” on MSN.com, FOXSportsOhio.com saw an 8X increase in unique visitors relative to the site’s typical weekday traffic.

The local story began when the Richmond Heights (15-0) vs. Independence boys’ basketball game on Tuesday, Feb. 8 was postponed due to the Richmond Heights coach being accused of verbal harassment.

Jackson's article recapping the conflict became the most-viewed article on the site in 2011, at that time, and was selected as an "Editor's Pick" on the MSN home page.
Not long after Jackson made the local high school conflict relevant for MSN's national audience, the Cavs achieved a major 104-99 win over the defending champion Lakers.

FOXSportsOhio.com’s aftermath coverage on Thursday, Feb. 17 not only became the most-viewed since the recent Richmond Heights story, but it achieved the most traffic in the site’s history, over 10X greater than the site's typical daily traffic.
