FOX Sports Florida is, once again, swinging for the fences with its Miami Marlins coverage, even if the team is striking out.

The network televises the first of 150 games starting with opening day on Monday (Rockies at Marlins, 7:05 p.m.)

Opening day will feature a special 6 p.m. Marlins LIVE pre-game show. Otherwise, home and away game telecasts feature half-hour pregame shows and all will offer extended post-game coverage.

The esteemed Tommy Hutton returns for his 18th season as FOX Sports Florida’s television analyst for the Marlins, which is saying something since a majority of the games he has watched for nearly two decades have been Miami’s loses.

The talented Rich Waltz returns for his 10th year as play-by-play announcer and the well-versed Craig Minervini is back for his 13th season as pregame host and in-game reporter.

Analyst Jeff Conine returns for home Marlins LIVE pre- and postgame telecasts, while Preston Wilson returns for his third season as an analyst.

The Marlins lone scheduled national television appearance is on FOX Sports 1 against the Atlanta Braves at 4:10 p.m. May 31.

An additional pair of games versus the Tampa Bay Rays on June 4 and June 5 will be shown as part of the Rays broadcast on FOX’s Sun Sports.

Inside the Marlins also returns with seven half-hour episodes that feature interviews with players and coaches, plus behind-the-scenes stories.
