FOX Sports Wisconsin Takes the 'Ultimate Lambeau Leap' to Support Special Olympics

Backing organizations that enhance and encourage every fan’s access to, and passion for, athletics is the foundation of the FOX Sports Wisconsin Supports Platform. By teaming up with Special Olympics Wisconsin, FOX Sports Wisconsin is able to support a statewide organization that provides individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities year-round sports training and athletic competition.

As Special Olympics Wisconsin’s statewide event partner, FOX Sports Wisconsin took their support to new heights promoting two marquee fundraisers using a multi-platform approach. Beyond spreading the word, the FOX Sports Wisconsin Girls got in on the action, participating in the Ultimate Lambeau Leap in Green Bay and Over the Edge Milwaukee

The FOX Sports Wisconsin Girls made the most of their time in Green Bay, meeting with two media outlets to promote the Ultimate Lambeau Leap and encourage listeners to support Special Olympics Wisconsin by joining the FOX Sports Wisconsin rappel team or making donations to support a worthy cause.

After rappelling 140 feet down the side of historic Lambeau Field, the FOX Sports Wisconsin Girls are prepared to take on The City Center at 735 in Milwaukee on Friday, Sept. 13. To increase event participation and encourage individuals to exceed the required minimum donation, participants that raise more than $1,000 will be entered for a chance to “buddy rappel” with the FOX Sports Wisconsin Girls.

Not many corporations can say they’ve leapt off buildings to support the community – but that’s the extent FOX Sports Wisconsin is willing to go for Special Olympics Wisconsin and the nearly 10,000 athletes they serve.
