The National
Academy of Television Arts & Sciences-Upper Midwest Chapter recently
announced nominations for the 2013 Emmy Awards. FOX Sports North was one of the
top stations in the market with 30 nominations:

The regional
sports network’s “Sandlot Day” project - coordinated in conjunction with
FOX Home Entertainment - is among the
highlights. A tribute to the 20th anniversary of the Sandlot, the 2013 Twins telecast is nominated in the ““Sports:
1 Time Special” category.
Additionally,
Twins play-by-play announcer Dick Bremer will be honored with Silver Circle
Award. The special honor is designed to recognize individuals with 25+
years on the television industry who have made a significant contribution to television
well above and beyond that required by their job. Nominees answer to the highest standards of integrity and honor in all
aspects of their personal and professional lives.
