FS West Celebrates Long-term Angels Renewal with VIP Reception and Marketing Blitz

As FOX Sports West and the Los Angeles Angels enter into a new long-term partnership, key constituents across Southern California - including advertising clients, distribution partners, members of the media, team personnel, players and FSN executives - recently gathered to celebrate a new era of Angels Baseball and FOX Sports West. The evening event included:

Atop STAPLES Center's City View Terrace, attendees enjoyed appetizers and cocktails followed by an official welcome from FOX Sports West's SVP/GM, Steve Simpson. Angels reporter, Michael Eaves served as event emcee, conducting question and answer sessions with Angels GM, Jerry Dipoto followed by veteran Halo, Howie Kendrick and newly acquired Pitcher, CJ Wilson.


Following the outdoor reception, guests were invited to STAPLES Center's Hyde Lounge to watch the Clippers host the Lakers. Wilson and Kendrick were also interviewed live during the game telecast by sideline reporter Chris McGee.

OUTDOOR
Outdoor digital boards currently span the LA DMA at prime intersections and along heavily traveled city streets. This digital platform includes daily tune-in messaging and live scoring updates.

RADIO
The radio campaign includes :30 spots in prime drive times to also drive tune-in messaging, tease key match-ups and more.

GRASSROOTS 
FS West also debuted the “Halo Express” on the celebratory evening. The co-branded bus will be used all-season long for community events, client trips to games, and promotional opportunities. 


The bus toured the Downtown LA area - including STAPLES Center - to add to the overall ambiance of the night and build anticipation for Opening Day. 


STADIUM SIGNAGE                  Working in tandem with the team, FS West also has unique branding within Angel Stadium, including logo inclusion on the dugouts as well as in the batter's eye, and terrace banners

FOX SPORTS WEST GIRLS
Also participating in the festivities surrounding Opening Day, FOX Sports West Girls, Corinne and Ashasigned autographs, posed for pictures and interacted with fans at Angel Stadium.
